The School of Electrical Engineering conducts diverse and multi-faceted collaborations with companies and organisations.

The School of Electrical Engineering’s strengths lie in scientific and technological research designed to benefit Finnish companies and organisations. The results of these research activities can be applied in the renewal and competitive consolidation of companies across a wide spectrum of industries, as well as in developing new commercial operations. Our Master of Science (Technology) and Doctor of Science (Technology) graduates are well-suited to various jobs in companies and organisations.

The Corporate Relations unit is responsible for promoting collaborations between the School of Electrical Engineering and companies and organisations, as well as systematically supporting long-term partnerships.

The research community developed between the School of Electrical Engineering and companies and organisations covers an array of fields – from nanotechnology to 1.5 megavolt electric transmission systems.

The Corporate Relations unit offers companies contacts, networking opportunities, and the potential for research and teaching collaborations. The opportunities for research cooperation in this sector are many – from research projects and programmes to a diverse array of infrastructural collaborations. The opportunities for teaching cooperation in this sector range from guest lectures to thesis supervisions and student projects.
