Aalto University School of Electrical Engineering

The Aalto University School of Electrical Engineering works in the area of basic research as well as in the field of latest technologies and provides high quality engineering education for both Finnish and international students.

School´s seven departments widely cover the fields of electronics, communications and automation. Special fields include automation and systems technology, electronics and information technology, power engineering, (wireless) communications engineering and bio information technology.

The School of Electrical Engineering builds on the 160-year history of the Helsinki University of Technology, now as one of the four independent engineering schools of the newly formed Aalto University.
